Hello, Happy New Year!  It has been an interesting one so far.  What a beautiful day!  So glad to see the sun again after the blizzard conditions the last couple of days here in WNY!  I can actually see out of my windows again, I was getting a little claustrophobic!  It is time to think ahead to spring flowers and working on my sugar eggs.

I have a hyacinth in my kitchen window, all you could  see is the  snow that was blown by the 35mph winds for a couple days!  The scent of the flower helps me to look forward to warmer weather, flowers, Easter and new beginings.

I can see clearly now the snow has stopped!

Panoramic Sugar Eggs

Hi I was raised by a very creative mother. She was always working on something and she passed that trait onto me. She taught me how to make sugar eggs as a child. I have made them on and off over the years, but the last few years I..well..have become obsessed. I love the reaction when I show my eggs to people. Many people are immediately transported back to their childhood and have such fond memories of recieving these at Easter time. I wanted to keep this vintage craft alive. It is a wonderful way to spend time with your family and make these special dioramas to give as gifts. I also teach community education classes on making the sugar eggs. It is very rewarding teaching others to make these and to pass on the tradition. One of my goals in life is to make my creative time more profitable.  Here are a few of last years eggs that are drying in my cabinet.  I also can add your photo to the spring scene.I also can add your photo to the spring scene.  Check out my Etsy shop for more sugar eggs that I offer!  iloveprisims.etsy.com  I have to start these soon and it is never too early to order!  I had someone buy some as Christmas gifts last year!
